Iranian publisher wins Spanish prestige and quality award

TEHRAN -- The Spanish magazine Actualidad will be granting its international award “Golden Eagle for Prestige and Quality 2011” to the Iranian firm Shabaviz Publishing Company this year.

Actualidad, a magazine of tourism, industry and commerce in Madrid, presents its annual award to a limited number of companies for their achievements in business.
Iranian writer and head of Shabaviz Publications, Farideh Khalatbari confirmed the news, adding that the award has been earmarked for the publisher for its international art and cultural activities
“The award-giving ceremony will take place on July 17 at Melia Castilla Hotel in Madrid,” she told the Persian service of MNA on Monday.
She added, “The award was established in 1995 to recognize the most influential entrepreneurs and help introduce them to the world.”
“International activities are also of high significance for the organizers, and books by Shabaviz Publishing Company are quite well known in many countries, especially in Asia and Europe,” she said.
This award will help international publishing organizations to get to know Shabaviz and encourage them to increase their collaboration with us, she said.
“I need to start preparations to take part at the award-giving ceremony in Madrid on July 16,” she stated.
